Load Capacity

Plant lifting capacity features three, five, ten, fifteen, twenty-five, and forty ton overhead cranes, plus internal handling equipment. However, with outside lifting help, machine load capacity can be pushed upwards to 80,000 lbs.

Esterle’s Capabilities

Has built many plastic injection molds that will run in a 1500 ton machine and our capacity will exceed that.
Offers mold sampling and qualification using our own thirteen Milacron injection mold machines ranging from 90 ton to 2600 ton.
Features a 90 ton, 220 ton, 300 ton, 400 ton, (2) 500 ton, 610 ton, (2) 850 ton, 1,000 ton, 1,500 ton, 1760 ton, and 2600 ton (607 oz. barrel) Milacron injection mold machines.
Can accept most file formats, but prefers STEP, X_T, DWG, DXF, IGES, and PARASOLID.
Has a complete 3D CAD/CAM system online featuring Solidworks and OPEN MIND

Plastics Division

Assistance from Design Staff

Parts to be injection molded must be very carefully designed to facilitate the molding process. The material used for the part, the desired shape and features of the part, the material of the mold, and the properties of the molding machine must all be taken into account. Our design staff assist you with a review of your design considerations and possibilities to use the versatility of injection.

In-House Toolmakers

In addition to custom molding and plastic assembly, we provide complete tool design, build and repair. Our state of the art, fully equipped tool shop is capable of producing precision molds to the highest standard. We value our team of highly skilled and experienced mold makers. In-house tooling ensures instant response through the mold building process including maintenance, repairs and revisions.

ESTERLE is able to run production on all types of plastic parts using our thirteen injection molding machines ranging from 90 ton to 2600 ton! We can design plastic molds to your specifications or review your existing designs to ensure the best possible manufacturing outcome. Our qualified staff will assist you in choosing the right plastic for the job based on the chemical and mechanical properties of the plastic, the constraints and best-operating parameters of the machines required to manufacture the parts, and the final shape of the parts being manufactured. Our team will work with you every step of the way, from original concept and design to mold sampling and qualification to the economical mass production of your plastic molds.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

Having the best team in the industry is meaningless if your production facility is decades old. At ESTERLE, we take pride in having only the state-of-the-art machining, software, and technology available for plastic mold production. We have thirteen injection molding machines ranging from 90- to 2600-ton capacities; four on-site 60,000-lbs. silos; and three, five, ten, fifteen, twenty-five, and forty ton overhead cranes, plus internal handling equipment (that can be pushed to nearly a 80,000-lbs. machine load capacity) to meet the most demanding project requirements. Our facility operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. From the smallest imaginable to the largest possible plastic mold, ESTERLE has the facilities to manufacture precision plastic molds.
